in a world of wonder
Christmas 2007, my husband gave me the most thoughtful, romantic gift I've ever received: a kiss.

I opened a small package to find a black, velvet ring box. I opened that to find an antique thimble in place of a ring with the following note:

Tink,
I'm giving you a kiss with love. May Innocence, Love, and Magic stay in your heart forever. If it should ever leave I will always be around to remind you of childhood.

I love you!

Love,
Peter

Fast-forward to Christmas 2008, my gift to him is a sparkly card with the following poem plus a handful of pixie dust:

A gift of magic from me to you
In return for a kiss so true.
If you find yourself in dire need,
If your heart & spirit threaten to bleed -
Just think of this gift and of me,
These are all you’ll need, you see.
A kiss, along with faith & trust,
And I’ll provide the pixie dust.
So close your eyes & take my hand -
We’ll be happily ever after, in Neverland.

Think Happy Thoughts
&
Never Grow Up!
