Poetry Written By Me
You Speak

You speak to me of honesty and truth
Yet you spit the seeds of lies across the room
You talk of untruths spoken by people close to you
Yet you speak mouthfuls of lies at every sitting
You talk endlessly of how you were wronged
Yet you deny people the prize of your time
You speak of how you were tricked into doing what they wanted
Yet you manipulate me endlessly
You speak of friendship and love
Yet you hoard both like gold bricks
You speak words of love to me
Yet you use and twist love into obsession
You say you need me more than air
Yet you push me away with each of your untrue words...
