A letter to my daughter as she was dealing with life.
My Dear Daughter,

You are not trapped though you may feel that you are. There is a way out but you must seek the right way. Follow Jesus not the world.

God will take that anger if you will let it go. He will give you the strength to deal with all your problems.

The barber test you will just have to study and try and get over the nervousness that keeps you from remembering what you need to know.

Don't give up on your dreams, seek and fulfill them.

The car, you will have to make a decision whether to keep the old one or not. You will just have set a real goal and work towards that goal.

We all want to have a life and we have one. It's whatever we make of our life that is important. You can't just go out and take what ever you find and make a life with it. You need to make the right decisions.

You chose to leave Shawnee and your friends just as I did. Maybe it was the wrong one and maybe not. If it was then God can bring something good out of it. We can't go back and change that decision, just keep moving on and seek His will.

Not all of the friends you pickup will be true friends so look in the right places and seek real friends. Sometimes even real friends can let you down because they have choices to make also.

We all want a job doing what we love but sometimes we have to take what we have and deal with it until we get the chance for something better.

There is a real Christian man out there for you somewhere but you will never find him if you cling to the past and all your problems. You have to have patience and act in the proper way so that people will see your true beauty. We always want what we want now so we mess up and take whatever we think we can get which is not a good thing. We show others that we don't care about respect or love. You have to earn that respect.

You are one of those persons that think they need a man in their life to make them happy but that's not true. You don't have to settle anything less the best.

Your life is not limited, we only limit ourselves, and there are many resources available.

Yes, there are many things that you could do yourself that you don't do but you need put some effort into it if you really want to these things. You will gain confidence as you do this.

Yeah, we go through times of depression but we can't just sit and dwell on it. With God's help we are lifted out of darkness into the light. He gives us a choice though we can remain in darkness or step out into the Light.

Beauty is not in being skinny or any physical appearance. You are truly beautiful when you let God shine through you. People will see your real beauty what's in your heart. If they are seeking someone that is skinny and beautiful to the world then they are seeking to glorify themselves.

You don't really want to end your God given life; it's just the depression and emotions you are dealing with at the time.

Yes, it's time to grow up and start to really think about what you do and what you need to do. Life don't come easy, there is a lot of work involved.

Lies destroy our closest relationships, You not only hurt others with lies but also you suffer the consequences.

I try and share everything I have with you and only want the best for you but when I find out that you lied to me, it pierces my heart and breaks my trust in you.

You can't hide lies they always come out sometime. The truth may hurt at the time but not as bad as the lies that linger.

I will always love you unconditionally because you are my child. I know that you can be the person that God created you to be. You are not trapped and there is a way out!

Love Always Mom
