Two people not having enough time in a day to spend together
I hate to leave you on this great day
A day of just the two to play
I hoped and wondered as we play
Would it last beyond the evening gray
Swing around each other we go
Running through valleys only we know
Mocking the sounds of a passing crow
Oh! This memory I must stow
We chained our arms, hearts grew near
As each bashful touch was clear
Not know that night was near
Because tomorrow we did not fear
And as we lye in soft grass so bare
Our shadows met with great care
Passing time in a soft kissed stare
It was then we found times so unfair
