About leaving a horrible person
I am gone.
I am nothing.
No longer the pale skin you touched,
No longer the dark hair that your fingers,
Long and soft brushed from my face.

I have left.
I have cried.
No longer put my trust in you,
No longer listen as you tear holes,
Through every dream I ever had.

I am new.
I am reborn.
No longer the laugh which carried,
No longer the voice that whispered,
Words of Love in your ear while you slept.

Instead I am a shell,
A pointless exterior only.
No longer clinging to you though,
No longer bound to your side,
By a miserable excuse for love.

I will come back,
I will find that which makes me whole.
Until then,
I will make sure,
When you hear my new voice,
When you lookin my hollow eyes,
I will make sure you know-

You did this to me.
