A woman who got kicked out and found true love,
Homeless!
Alone in the streets
Kicked to the curb
Barely eighteen
When he hit me straight
Brat, useless, get out of here
Strength, independence
Homeless shelters, struggling
Each and every day

Prince charming
Golden boy, handsome too
Rescue me from this pain
Loved me, soothed me
Made me whole again
Gave me food, a warm bed
Laughter reached me again!

Memories left me
Bad ones, good ones
New ones formed
He love me
He gave me hope
Engagement, marriage
My true love opened to me

Babies
Two wonderful daughters
Years since my departure
From that cold, misleading place
My childhood gone
My middle age starting
Twenty-five arrives
Married and all

My life is complete
No going back
My mother and father
Distant
Laughing at the old memories
That is rarely remembered
I am glad to be me
