Problems with my daughter
You forfeited our relationship for him.
You gave up everything on a whim.

You seem to think I am always wrong.
You are weak; I know you’re not strong.

He was no good from the very beginning.
He will break your heart, no happy ending.

He always makes you do things his way.
I hope you will see what he is some day.

You continue to tell me lies to try to cover.
I know our relationship will not recover.

I have tried to be the example you need.
Warnings though you still do not heed.

You are blinded by his so called charm.
You can’t even see that there is harm.

He really is like you father you know.
His ugliness will just continue to grow.

The abused keep living in the weakness.
They just can’t see through the darkness.

You can’t see that there is The Light.
You’re blinded by the darkness of night.
