A poem written as a child for a child, because everybody feels inferior sometimes.
He crouches behind the rubbish bin,
a threatening smile hides the hurt within,
his victim appears,
the bully jumps out,
"I'm bigger and better than you!" he shouts
but only his victim believes it.

He kicks a can down a dusty lane,
back to his den in the dump again,
he can't go home- he's unwelcome there,
his mother and father just shout and swear
and nobody knows but him.

He's falling asleeep in his cold school meal,
A new girl walks in, her eyes like steel
she glances around, an end to the riot,
she moves to his table, the school falls quiet -
now who's the bully?
