Clemencies Departed


For one motionless minute more
Mercy seemed to be in stride
Azygous souls afflicted sore
Plead with darkness deep inside

Like crowning majesty of dark midnight
Recumbent upon the heavens breast
Awaits the spatial throes of light
It slowly slips into sleeping rest

Melting like the hint of mint
Amid a lemon mind
It leaves its darkend musky scent
Departing for the time, behind

Search within while looking out
Deep into those mirror eyes
Awash in reddened screaming shout
With endless hurting crying tries
