I shall look inward and try not to be terrified by what I behold there-John Wolf Sr.

I am driftwood on the beach of life
Tossed carelessly upon the shore
I lay among the sands of time-
Of time that's now-and time before

I rode the stormswept seas of life
Tossed sometimes from crest to crest
Wherever the current swept me to
Sometimes east-sometimes west

Sometimes I floated sun-drenched bays
Sometimes I scraped o'er jagged shoals
And sometimes the immensity
Overwhelmed all of my goals

But now I rest on the shore at last
Here-just beyond the ocean's reach
Soaking up those final rays
Ah my friend, ain't life a beach?
