Does he know?
Dear Mr.President

How do you feel when you see the eyes of doubt.
While we all quake in fear of our lives.
When a mother can't say goodbye.

No child is left behind?
Would you ever walk with me down memory lane?
To see what I see?
Or will you just sit back and ignore the truth?

You walk with this unknown pride.
As if you accomplished something.
When you seperate love to form hate.

Do you see that card board box?
That creates a home.
Do you just pass it by?
How do you sleep at night?

A mother with minimum wage
With a baby on the way.
As you take her pride and money away.
Look into the eyes of the lost and see what i see.

You think your better than me?
Speak thruth.
When lies are just hidden behind the closed doors of exsitence.
Is this what you wanted?

Sad thing is ...
You would never take a walk down memory lane.
Because you don't want to believe.
What is true.
