It only takes a little trust to change someone's life.
Despair and darkness all around.

Hopeless, she dropped to the ground.

A knife; she held the end to this life;

Forever it would end her strife.

Another sat, not far away,

And feeling very much the same.

She wanted desperately to pray, but

"He wouldn't hear," her mind conveyed.

"You don't know Him well enough,

And too many times you've violated His trust."

"Still, trust me here!" she heard Him say,

"I still want to use you, in so many ways!

It doesn't matter about your past,

But will you trust me?" again He asked.

So submitting to the Lord's soft voice

She stood up; she'd made her choice.

Talking to the other there,

Hope and love replaced despair!

And on that day a life was saved

Because a lost child chose to obey.

See, it doesn't matter who you are,

God can, and will, heal your jagged scars;

And no matter who you've been,

He will wipe away your sin.

He needs you, wants you, loves you and cares,

And He will always help you to conquer your fears.

Beckoning, He asks yet again,

"Will you trust me with your fate, dear Friend?"

He will always be there no matter your take,

So what choice today will you make?
