Is it really so unrealistic?
I wish for ever elusive romance
For that darling, chivalrous companion
To take me to cloud nine that we may dance
That dreamlike dance through love’s cosmic canyon

I don’t want infatuation or lust
But to be wooed and swept off of my feet
By a gentleman, someone I can trust
No sounds over our harmonized hearts’ beat

The stuff of movies when soft music plays
And the world fades away as our eyes meet
The sweet scent of dozens of rose bouquets
A tender moment and my life’s complete

Soaring to me on the wings of a dove
My soul yearns for my fairy tale love
