A darker world I choose not to deny.
If only in ink and imagination I’ll let them thrive.
Poetry and fiction inspired by perception,
Sometimes aided by unrelated experiences
and fueled by the words of others.
While the rest of me cling to light,
hope, life and love.
This other side of me,
here I safely keep.
