Sometimes i'm home and I feel trapped. This poem describes my feelings of confinement.
I sit here, watching the sun outside

I hate that my life is passing me by

And here I am inside,

Not doing anything.

Why has this boredom gotten hold of me?

What can I do?

I want to live, to see

All that life has to offer.

I crave adventure, excitement

I want to see the world

Why must my heart lament,

While the days trickle by.

I hope that soon I will be free,

To go out and get a taste of whats out there

And in those moments I hope to be,

Satisfied.
