Short, somewhat morbid, poem for Writer's Cramp
         The Ring is Lost

         Terrible things have happened, since I lost that ring.
         Her patience withered into a short fuse.
         Everything she said, was meant to confuse.

         Rendering me helpless, her ire felt free to sting.
         Insistent upon the virtue of it,
         Never veering, constant leering habit.
         
         Growing apart was easy once I learned to sing.
         I hum and chant, she cuts me here and there
         Silence makes me hear the cutting too clear.

         Laughing, knowing, every single tear she will wring
         Oblivious to the true cause of pain
         She will cut until there's no blood to drain
