I like telling true little stories that are different but they are true
This is a true little story about Martin Luther King
I'm writing this for black history month.
All though I'm am not of the black race, but I am of the human race.

I Have A Dream speech was not the first speech that Martin Luther King was going to write at the rally, but it was his best speech.

Martin Luther King was going through a period of depresson
and discouragement.
What all his people were going through, segragation, equal rights, people burning their houses and he was feeling that he was failing his people..
He wanted tp preach to all the people and cross the color barrier.
God said,"All people are welcome in the house of the Lord."

Martin Luther King was sitting at a table pondering what he was going write about in his speech.
He had on a long face full of depression and discouragement that dampen his home life.

Martin Luther King wife loved Martin so much.
She couldn't stand to see him in this depression state of mind.
Martin wife came into his den wearing a black dress.
He said,"Who died?"
Martin wife turned to Martin and said,"Martin, the way you'er
behaving I thought God was dead.I was preparing to go to his funeral."

Martin wife gentle rebuke changed his way of thinking.
He promised never again to allow worldly cares, depression, discouragement or frustration to defeat him again.

In his heart he knew God wasn't dead.He was very much a live. That little black dress reminded him of that.
Now Martin wanted to give his people hope for a better future.
So instead of writing about despair and grief. He wrote about love and hope when he wrote the speech I Have A Dream. He wanted change for his people and all people.

Now all the things he wrote about has now come true.
We now have change in Amercia.
The United States has now a first black President in Barach Obama.
Amercia has changed because Martin Luthor King had a dream.
We are all now living that dream.

This little story about a black dress that changed Martin Luthor King thinking was told by his wife to Billy Graham.
