A poem I wrote to enter a comp
Two steps forward, one step back,
it hits me with a mighty whack!

There's something missing, I am lost.
I have to find it at any cost.

To keep my feet firmly on the ground,
something to believe in, must be found.

Without it I float, I stumble, which way.
Give me something to believe in and guide me each day.
