This is one of the ways which I feel about my love. This is how I sometimes see us.
You and I are like children.

With hands held tightly,
We explore this world in which we have been placed.
We learn,
We cry,
We laugh.
We are discovering this world,
Realizing its many secrets.
We are engaged in a dance:
We stumble,
We run,
We skip in this forest called "life".

As we roam through the trees,
Sometimes getting lost,
Getting separated,
We discover hidden secrets.
Some are lovely
While others scare.
And for the latter,
We run back to each other,
Holding closely our bodies
As we protect and comfort...

We are alone here,
The only ones capable
Of truly understanding each other.
And so,
We both look out for each other
As we go farther and farther into this forest,
Into the darkness,
The unknown...
