A young woman visits the forest where many of her childhood days were spent.
Step, crunch, step, crunch
The sound of leaves crackling as two feet tread upon them.
Bubbling over with laughter,
The sound of a babbling brook.

She's closer
Closer to her childhood days

Chirp, chatter, chirp, chatter
The sound of woodland creatures retreating.
Splashing incessantly
The sound of fresh rain falling.

She's gotten closer
Closer to her childhood days

The trees whoosh with the gusting wind
The sound of a storm coming.
Thunder sounds like a lion,
The sound of lightning coming.

She's even closer
Closer to her childhood days

The lightning flashes,
Illuminating the whole world, so it seems
It reveals in it's light
A faraway land

A land,
Where imagination was endless
Where an old and simple structure of logs and a flag
Could be anything

She's closer
Closer to her childhood days
