Springs arrival.
Rays of golden light reach up into the sky
when the darkness seems its thickest.

Clouds drift though the silken blue,
calling the soft caresses of life giving showers.

The earth seems to come alive.
Frogs raise their voices
singing to the rain.

Crickets join in
lending unearthly
instruments to the
chorus.

As the quickly
as the rains gental song
began, it ends in
an awe inspiring
silence.

Bold colorful banner,
from earth to cloud
and back again
signals to all that
She is near.

The sun smiles,
Her brilliance
Lighting the sky.

Slowly making her way
she greets all
with warmth.

Parting clouds
create a pathway
to her throne
on high.

Sweet smells permeate the air
as plants slowly lift their blooms
toward her loveliness.

A new song slowly
rises on feather,
as birds proclaim
the beauty in her grace.

Finally she reviles
Her new
spring gown.
