A poem about the end that I wrote.
Here it is, at worlds end, I must let you go
But how is that fair, as you were never mine
Nothing has blossomed from the seeds I did sew
I now realize, it’s best for you, if my feelings die

It was ill for me to hold on for this long
Only in dreams and song did I see what could be
I will now step aside, and hope you can forgive my wrongs
A heavy heart, a burden to bear, I shall not let it break me

One day you will look back and remember me as “that one guy”
You will never need know this act I commit
You will never need know this grand lie
For a flame in my heart you have lit

So I go now, to the end of what could have been, the end of it all
My resolve is set, my mind numb
I will ignore, but never forget, your endearing call
To the end of it all I come
