Just a bit of poetry. Really short.
Silence

No matter what changes
It’s still silent
Many nights of waiting, hoping, dreaming; he seeks counsel
It’s still silent
He may find comfort in story and song; but he still feels lost. He cannot hear the call
It’s still silent
Others see gifts and talents. He sees only flaws. He wants to feel true relief. He calls out for help
He receives only silence.
He may become more active. He may even break habit, but no matter what changes
It’s still silent.
