I Came To. . . . .

I came to ponder over your garden today.
I found it empty--it seems the hose had been cut
and many had fallen into the rut;caused by the overflow.
It seemed nothing could  grow.

So I picked up some tools , and I started fresh;
though I had to thresh and thresh and thresh.

As I planted and watered, to your chagrin;
a rainbow appeared, then another and another
and another ..... within.
