To a vampire we all once knew, or one we have yet to get to know.
...Did you get what you came here for?
Did you anticipate how their souls would scream?
Did you feel a sense of sick satisfaction?

That same devilish smile,
Were they horribly fortunate enough to see it?
Were you always out for blood?

The evidence of your cruelty,
Had you left a trail so that they'd once again find you?
To beg for you? To take you and let them inside of you?

I know that it is somewhat of a wonder,
To any poor heart unknowing.
It was your most prized and well kept secret.

But it is no mystery to me.
I fall not to your charming lies.
Your teeth will never pierce my skin...

...You will never have my blood.
