A weary traveler seeks refuge.
My shoes are cumbersome
and heavy,
Caked with the mud
of misspent nights.
My useless arms
dangle at my side,
Numb from
embracing futility
so tightly.
If only
your kind eyes
would grant me
an audience
for my candor.
