The disarray and distance expansion one feels on yet another failed attempt at love.
CRASH LANDING

Feeling blue.
Seeing it through.
Fell in it again.
No help from a frien'.

Pacing and moping
Can't help hoping.
Can't eat, can't sleep.
Man, I feel beat.

Say I'm better alone,
After my bird has flown.
It's never an easy landing,
Even with understanding.

Tried, embarrassed and hurt.
'nother crash landing in the dirt.
Feelin' the place get bigger.
Love. It just don't figure!
