Don't do an obit on me, Polly and Marley can use the sports section.
Don't put a picture of me there
to be viewed by those who love, hate,
or really don't care
or don't even know me.
In a crazy hat.
Or my Sunday best.
Don't share my lifetime
in fifty words or less.
Don't tell them what killed me.
Or thrilled me
Or made me, me.
Let it be.

For, no matter how long I lived
No matter what I did
No matter what I lost or won
It's done.

No last words about me
for bird poo or puppy pee.
