that which we all strive to see and touch.
Maroon black from 'cross the lake
Shines dimly upon the waters.

You gently stroke my eyes,
then Pirouette, embracing the walls.

And that's where you'll stop.
Unable to go through.
Past to your home.

But that's alright.
You've a new throne now
Glowing as darkly as beauty itself.

I'm confined
By the caving walls,
Save the entrance to the sea.

Yet I'm afraid
To dip my foot
into the icy blue.

What if I never
Reach the other side?

Wanting to leave, but always I stay
Within these walls
Watching

The Light on the Other Side.
