My thoughts on Global Warming or what I like to call it natural course of action
I am so sick of people who are NOT scientist aka Al Gore stating the world is going to end due to the consequences of Global Warming. Come on, in my opinion, what a bunch of crock.

My thoughts on the subject:

I think the world is evolving and has been for many years and probably the warming and such over time is a natural course of action.

It seems the Global Warming debates are not over actual facts but over the supposed facts of the warming and CO2 emissions increase; which by the way Obama is trying to pass a bill to increase emission tax. Yep, another tax. Anyway, back to my argument regarding Global Warming. Proponents for putting a halt to global warming say that this has caused the increase in tropical storms in the last thirty years as well as increasing the water levels of the oceans which can cause major issues if the trend continues. Again, could this be due to natural causes? Just a question.

In addition, the water level increases and other changes are not new developments either, as tropical storms have been documented for years, with some years being worse than others, as well as the ocean water level steadily rising over the years. Thus said, they claim that the global warming is a swindle, helping free enterprise and government to grow.

Despite the global warming debate, there is no argument that the general population and big industry has been steadily polluting the planet. There is no argument either that action must be taken in order to change habits so that the health of the environment which includes plants, animals and humans is made better. There are many simple things that can be done by individuals that do not increase anyone's pocket book except for the individual making the changes, since they will be saving money in energy costs. Here are some suggestions that have been advertised. Take a cloth sack to the grocery store so that plastic or paper sacks that create waste and take energy to produce are not used. Also, when using the dish washer, it should be fully loaded before washing so that less energy is expended. Clothes should be dried outside when possible to also save on energy costs. Kids can fight the cause by using both sides of paper when coloring and scribbling. These simple measures do not help big industry, but do save on energy expenditures and helps to protect the environment and isn't that the goal...the environment?

Enjoy some Global Warming Quotes:
Some of the scientists, I believe, haven’t they been changing their opinion a little bit on global warming? There’s a lot of differing opinions and before we react I think it’s best to have the full accounting, full understanding of what’s taking place. GEORGE W. BUSH, presidential debate, Oct. 11, 2000

Global warming is indeed a scam, perpetrated by scientists with vested interests, but in need of crash courses in geology, logic and the philosophy of science.
MARTIN KEELEY, BBC News, Dec. 6, 2004

I don't mean to imply that we are in imminent danger of being wiped off the face of the earth - at least, not on account of global warming. But climate change does confront us with profound new realities. We face these new realities as a nation, as members of the world community, as consumers, as producers, and as investors. And unless we do a better job of adjusting to these new realities, we will pay a heavy price. We may not suffer the fate of the dinosaurs. But there will be a toll on our environment and on our economy, and the toll will rise higher with each new generation. EILEEN CLAUSSEN, speech, July 17, 2002

Most meteorological research is funded by the federal government. And boy, if you want to get federal funding, you better not come out and say human-induced global warming is a hoax because you stand the chance of not getting funded. WILLIAM GRAY, interview, Sept. 12, 2005

Two thousand scientists, in a hundred countries, engaged in the most elaborate, well organized scientific collaboration in the history of humankind, have produced long-since a consensus that we will face a string of terrible catastrophes unless we act to prepare ourselves and deal with the underlying causes of global warming.
AL GORE, speech at National Sierra Club Convention, Sept. 9, 2005

There are many who still do not believe that global warming is a problem at all. And it's no wonder: because they are the targets of a massive and well-organized campaign of disinformation lavishly funded by polluters who are determined to prevent any action to reduce the greenhouse gas emissions that cause global warming out of a fear that their profits might be affected if they had to stop dumping so much pollution into the atmosphere. Al Gore

If we did not take action to solve this crisis, it could indeed threaten the future of human civilization. That sounds shrill. It sounds hard to accept. I believe it's deadly accurate. But again, we can solve it. (talking about the environmental crisis)Al Gore
