Farewell to a relationship.
20.000 leagues between us now
16 light years and a day
eternity infinified
so close and yet so far away

the time it takes to draw a breath
the blackest instance of a blink
transience immortalised
I cannot seem to think

and every step I take
every mile I travel now
serves only to increase this distance
whichever way, no matter how
