I wrote this one about an old friend.
Shades of Summers Past



For each  of us there is a memory

that lingers

reminding us that souls expand,

collide and unite

only to be set adrift

and the eyes are sometimes left

harvesting a reflective of some shared illusion

that (however sadly)

has been kissed with

shades of summers passed.
