This is a yearning for a simpler life free of struggle. The boat is my inspiration.
Little boat so far away,

gleaming white and warm in the shine.

Little boat just off the bay,

oblivious to law, war and length of time.

Little boat,

where do you go on your long voyages away from home?

To distant harbours, exotic paradise

or do you wander aimlessly?

It does not matter because you are free to roam,

free to ride across the waves of the sea.

Little boat i envy you,

who can enter foreign waters and not pay the price.

Little boat why can't i be you

who does not have to think twice?

Little boat sailing the vast ocean,

no need for the sound of coins in your pockets.

I'm trapped in the world's rapid motion

and people's desire for earthly objects.

Little boat anxiously awaiting your next adventure.

boldly sailing into unchartered territory.

Why can't i too enjoy the simple pleasure

of listening to nature's story?

Little boat so carefree, so content

with your wonderfully meaningless life.

I'm ashamed of my constant need to mend

my personal struggles and strife.
