a strong, inspirational female character has now been deceived and destroyed.
Here i lie, burning on a pyre and all love remains in ashes.

Imprisoned in the depths of Hell

with eternity to mourn for my shattered heart.

How does it feel to watch helplessly when your world crashes?

He told me he loved me and i was foolish to believe it.

I gave him a city, a metropolis of magnificence

but he demolished the bricks that built our passion.

He abandoned me; surely and simply to fulfil his great destiny.

I was not to be found in his future, as ordained by prophecy.

I was merely a contruct of my own tragedy.

Our love was destructive; as is the consequence of all things once calm.

He was a masterpiece i desired to cherish.

As beautiful and ominous as armour glinting in the sunshine.

Therefore to the almighty gods i sing this psalm,

an evocation of these painful memories of mine.
