Through the flames
with burning heat
lies a man who’s in defeat.
His life has been taken
A disastrous way
Leaving behind nothing to say.

Through the flames
A devious shade
Lies a death that will not fade.
Sadness overwhelms the crowd
Though heartache and pain will succeed
His ashes are soon to be freed

Through the flames
Where people stare
Lies a fear, which isn't fair
People who know gather by
Stood still engrossed with shock
No one is soon to gossip or flock

Through the flames
That scorching heat
This is where the people meet
To see the man who was struck down
Surrounded by these ghastly flames
Coughing, spluttering calling names
As he pleased for help, he knew all was lost
His soul was taken, by shear force
Which ended his journey, his faithless course

Through the flames
You will find
A secret message he left behind
Telling you of a new kind of way
To spread the sorrow come what may
Telling the world to leave out and save the rest
From the shames,
From the simple loss of

Death in Flames.
