A tribute to time and its great wonder. I've made amendments.
Time you’re such a precious thing
You drift away like sand between my fingers
You come and go alluding recognition
So slippery I’m prone to losing you

Time I think you are virtuous, you are a healer
But you are wicked as well; sowing the seeds of decay
I think you impatient as you wait for no man
But please slow down, for we move to a different tempo

Time I wonder if you are endless, has the race no end?
I’m no theist but I believe you are a deity
You doll out death and life at your own whim
But I beseech you time please protect my memories
