to the longing for someone else
Lights and this
they are my
fun.
i watch as
my friends
my enemies
my strangers..
they dance together
upon one floor,
in harmony and unison
joy for the beauty they radiate.
i watch from over his
shoulder,
i look about for i havent
another place to look.
and i see him.
amongst it all
i see the one that doesn't
deserve to be
seen.
i see him and i
imagine
it is his shoulder
i look over.
the feeling,
it takes over like
some empty blackness
crying and yelling
inside.
i miss him.
he doesn't deserve to be
missed.
yet under the lights
i wish it was
his face,
his shoulder,
his hands
him.
these lights offer no comfort
for all i see under them is
him.
