First of a series of love poems for Maria
Rainbow Moon

Our journey into the stars
A voyage beyond the ephemeral clouds
Lost in a sprawl of nebulae
We arrive...

Lynx moon rising
Like the curve of your breasts
Aglow and splendorous in all you are

Still, soft, nearly imperceptible kiss
Upon my lips
As I take you there...
Oh, again and again

Rainbow rise over an Opal Sea horizon
The coo of reef turtles
At play in a moonlit lagoon
As we go on...on...

Ooh, again we go

Two starlings racing into the heavens
Well past the speed of light
And still so far to go
On and on

At last our nova bliss
As I melt into your ambrosia kiss.
