Someone who wants to feel what the believers feel but doesn't know how to begin.

In a desperate plea, to fit and belong,
When your conviction weren't so strong.
It is an easy answer, to a question so old.
For centuries it's been bought and sold.
If you so choose it is your choice.

Throughout the history of all mankind,
Many a man a mountain have climbed
To bring us the answer told to them;
Told us who to hang and condemn,
Disputing anyone else with a voice.

It is not the believer that I criticize,
No I do not wish you to apostatize.
It is those who's greed and misuse
Has bastardized all the good news.
Told you when and where to rejoice.

Corrupted and bankrupted so far now,
If I wanted to begin I don't know how
To try and see what it is that you see.
With your happiness I can't disagree.
I can choose, I have my own choice.

If not for war, pain and suffering
I may already have had my awakening,
But all of that hate I can not forget.
A much higher standard needs to be set.
But the love in the believers voice

Makes me wish I could ignore it, like they.
For so long now I have cast it away,
Looked only at the bad, never the good.
All of their joy, I never understood.
Perhaps I am soon to join and rejoice?
