the transient life, its acceptance yet complete reverence to love
But for a while

Be it the golden rays,or the silver streaks,
It is but for a while.

Be it my life ,or thee my love,
It is too but for a while.

But truly this while is true,
I am but engraved in you.

Say not to leave, if you will,
Me just cleave.

Wonder if you'll be the apple of my eye,
Or that drop that'll just roll by,
But for a while....
