a woman's fear of growing older
What beauty I have left will quickly fade now.

So, if you have no other interest in me, move along.

Do not stop to stare at the beautiful woman all alone.

Soon her bitterness will take hold and swallow what’s left.

Her wilted heart will be possessed by her demons,

Her child-like spirit will be covered in darkness

By the vines that grow up the walls of her heart.

It won’t be long now before she is unable to nurture your ego thus.

She will soon bask in her loneliness.

Hopeless and no longer waiting to be inspired by love,

She will start to mumble and folly to and fro,

Eventually falling from the grace of beauty.

Wrinkled and ever so weary

Of life’s undercurrents and waves

She will drown in self pity and fate.

Her beauty will be forgotten.

Her beauty will be forgotten.
