The ultimate symbol of freedom (Form: Terzanelle)
Riders of the Moon

A cold wind hums through brittle trees
as shadows flow across the snow.
The riders of the moon are free.

Keen senses alert as they go,
their instincts guide them through the night
as shadows flow across the snow.

A drifting scent blends with the light,
their hunting spirit sings through veins;
their instincts guide them through the night.

In silence now, no thought remains,
impelled by need, they onward forge.
Their hunting spirit sings through veins.

The moon, itself, seems to engorge
as sanguine streaks paint the fresh snow
impelled by need, they onward forge.

Their songs of conquest darkly grow.
A cold wind hums through brittle trees
as sanguine streaks paint the fresh snow,
the riders of the moon are free.
