My life has been nothing but a tunnel filled with pain and sorrow. I've put up with so much it seems inhuman. I've tried to fight my way out of this hell hole but I've never seen the end. Every time I try I can feel myself shatter inside, losing hope, losing strength, forgetting who I am. I'm afraid the next time I try I won't be able to pull myself back together. I'm afraid I can't do this on my own anymore. One last try I tell myself. One last try... Only by some miracle I would be able to pull myself out of here.

So I begin to try and somehow I manage to get up to my feet from all my previous defeats and try one last time. I could feel it, I knew it was this time, this last try that would save me. I tried and I tried and I tried and I pushed my way through every obstacle that stood in my way. Until I could see just a glimpse of light in the distance. I started to run with all might. Dashing towards the dim light in the distance. I could smell the fresh air, the air of freedom, the air of not having any worries left. I began to feel tears run down my face as it became nearer and nearer. Tears of joy they were, so happy to finally see the end of hell on earth.

I could imagine the trees waving in the wind and the birds chirping and flying overhead, and thick green lush grass with a softly beaten down trail. The earth, so green and at peace in this Garden of Eden. I could feel the past leaving me as I closed in on this light, I was feeling free once again, an unfamiliar feeling in a world full of hatred and twisted natures. As I ran I could feel my body giving up on me, every step closer I got the weaker my body became. I felt cursed. So close yet so far away... A familiar and unwanted feeling. As I neared this light my body weakening, I staggered and fell to my knees in exhaustion and pain, my strength shriveling and disappearing. The tears that roared down my face soon became tears full of hatred and sadness.

I couldn't get up, no matter how hard I tried. All my dreams. All my wishes. All my hope. Leaving me, for I was becoming just a fragment of the past. I could feel everything being sucked out of me, the feeling of love, hope, wishes and dreams... Gone... Never to felt again I thought. All of it disappearing and out of reach until a hand was placed on my right shoulder from behind. To weak to look but I could feel them wrap my arm around their shoulders, lifting me up for one last try at freedom everlasting. But this time I wouldn't be alone, like a hand reaching out to help you in your final hours, this person helped me to my feet. Like a guardian angel they had granted me strength, they had pulled me back up to feet when all else had failed. They were here for me.

They gave me back my dreams, wishes, and hope. But I still felt incomplete, like a hallowed man. My savior had told me, "Another day will arise where you will not only find who you are and where you belong, but what you were destined to do" and as fast as they have saved me from my former life of slavery to hatred, they had vanished. For days I have traveled looking for a place I could call home. I’ve traveled farther than the eye could see, hoping to find anything.

I would walk all day, everyday, until the night had greeted me with the moon and stars. Every night I would lay under the moon, watching the stars fly across the sky, and listen to the trees and grass whisper to me from the gentle breeze of wind as it kicked up and twirled leaves around me. As I fell asleep I made a wish upon a Falling star, asking for a sign, to show me who I really am and what I am meant to do. Then I remember waking up to a strange figure hovering above me as I woke. I had looked up and rubbed my eyes to reveal who it was. It was just a girl, but not just any girl, one of amazing beauty with the most amazing smile. She offered her hand to me to assist me in getting up. I accepted. As I stand before this stranger she had said to me "I knew you would wait for me, no matter how long I take or how far you must travel, I never doubted you, and I love you for that." at that moment I knew what I was destined to do.

Fate has had its fun with me; it was time for me to take control. It was time for me to save somebody else from a world full pain. All the small random everlasting acts of kindness towards somebody else would reveal to me who I really am. That somebody is you, I gave you my love, unwavering and unstoppable, for all eternity, you have my heart, my protection, and a friend. We are here for each other, until the end, to protect guide each other, to comfort and love each other, to live and breathe together, until the end of all things, I am here, I am yours, forever, together... We are the future.
