Preface to Helena and Cambria
Dark flowers of Gothich trust
Lie here consumed in rust
  Gracious hearts sing in sorrow
For they know there will be no morrow
What means diamonds, gold and emerald stones?
Once the bell has given its tone
To mark the end of this unfair art
For all their love should not depart
She loves him dear and cries a silver tear
He holds her near says 'darlind, don't fear'
They kiss once to seal their fate
Maybe they shall meet again on a later date
The bell has struck its final chord
To smoldering embers they do turn
