Children love a good scare, so fascinated by myths that they will always ask "is it real?"
Old troll
Bold troll
Stalks the woods throughout Bear Creek
In the depths of shadow's deep
Behind your back he waits to creep
All your bones he plans to keep
And take you under bridge to chew
Before the early morning dew
I will warn you
It is true

Old troll
Cold troll
Watches closely from the street
Within the darkness when most sleep
Listening for the sounds of feet
His crushing grip will feel like stone
Then under bridge he'll take you below
I'd beware if I were slow
For I can tell you
It is so

Old troll
Bold troll
Under the bridge above Bear Creek
There Old Troll he takes his seat
Chewing the bones he finds so sweet
Singing, "Bold Troll plays but always cheats"
You say you know where he might hide
For only in myths does he abide
With this I see you laugh inside
Still I also see you sigh

Old troll
Unsold troll
Leaves no trail and leaves no track
Yet to everyone I'll give this fact
Never you'll know when he'll attack
So when he does don't ever look back
For should you wait to see Old Troll
He'll catch you quick and smell like mold
Your very last thought none ever will know
For under bridge your fair to go.
