Claire was just a regular Arizonian and did not know what was going to hit her.
Have you ever been trapped in a dream, almost as if your swimming, deep in the ocean, looking up to the light? Your lungs bursting, your head feeling as if it could explode at any minute, and your legs so exhausted that they couldnt push you another inch upward? You wake up with relief that you can finally breathe again. Knowing it was a dream you almost smile to yourself, feeling silly that you were so scared, yet your legs, arms, and heart feel as though you were in that dream, swimming towards the light, towards the sun, towards oxygen? They say dreams have meanings, that deep into your mind, you are trying to some how warn yourself for the things that lay ahead.
I felt insane, my dreams taking every ounce of my heart. I was insane, stupidly blind for thinking they were just dreams.
