i regret i said i love you
Forever I'll remember,
Our first unforgettable kiss
And how our love use to be like an eternal bliss.

But loving you had a price,
I wish I would have had known the cost
Before everything I had and was had been lost.

I tried so hard to make you laugh,
Tried so hard to make you smile,
Even though it only lasted for a little while.

I thought you were different,
Never to be the kind,
To leave after using me and messing with my mind.

All the pain you put me through,
On my memory like a stain.
Just to let you know, it wasn't all in vain.

Once before I was weak,
because of you, I grew strong.
Now no one ever again will do me wrong.

Time has passed,
But the wounds still bleed.
An apology from you is less than what I need.

Still on lonely nights,
I can't help, but miss you.
Or maybe I miss the special feeling I would get, like I use to.

Now that I think about it,
I am somewhat amused,
That my lovesick ignorance led me to be confused.

The raging anger and hatred built up inside,
Could be released with a simple prick or sting.
How could I have known that this love would have been a regretable, life changing thing.

I want my thoughts of you to go away,
And the main thing I regret,
Is saying " I love you" to a person I wish I had never met.
