The Lonely Mother

                                                       

I wish would have treated you well.

With laughter and stories to tell.

Spent the extra time you need.

Now my heart continues to bleed.

Starting over again.

Sad because it is without you.

Free from the mistakes and pain.

Your memory will never leave my brain.





                                             

Even though you’re not in the grave.

Its like I’ve lost over and over again.

When I held you in my arms.

I wish I could have seen this far.

Now we live to separate lives.

You from me.
