Something I wrote during my emotional phase.
Sleeping beauty is dead
Cinderella never went to the ball
Fairy godmothers don’t exist at all
Prince Charming is gay
The turtle never wins the race
The three little pigs get eaten
Red Riding Hood never finds grandmother’s house

And might makes right
Here where dreams die
And everyone tells lies

It’s hopeless to cry
All you can do is try and fly
As you lay in a pool of broken dreams

In this place where
You cannot scream

Sleeping beauty is dead
Cinderella never went to the ball
And fairy godmothers don’t exist at all

In this world where you fall
Even when you crawl

In this world of expectations
Where your best
Is nowhere near good enough
And you pray for a painful death

By fire or bloodletting

Just so you can say that for a

Brief moment in time that you escaped

The nothingness

But there is no escape

From this never ending nightmare

Where

Sleeping beauty is dead
Cinderella never went to the ball
Prince Charming is gay
And fairy godmothers don’t exist at all

In this living hell
That is really to cruel
To be called a nightmare

Where fairy tales die and we all cry

Sleeping beauty is dead
Cinderella never went to the ball
Prince Charming is gay
The turtle never wins the race
The three little pigs get eaten
And spit back put

Fairy godmothers don’t exist at all
Magic is just a trick of the light

Red Riding Hood never finds grandmother’s house
She was kidnapped a long time ago

And good never wins
Because true evil cheats

Welcome to reality.
