Rated: 13+ · Poetry · Personal · #1583283
The poem describes how life begins good and sometimes gets gradually worse as people grow.
The beginning is joy and innocence.
Then it begins to ferment.
As bodies grow,
The sadness begins to burrow.
As the mind matures,
Death begins to have an allure.
As the soul aches in loneliness,
Murder of the self grows to appear innocent.
